Maiden Noir offers predominately unwashed raw denim. Left unwashed the denim develops a natural weathered appearance and signature character. (pictured left) Abrasion patterns, whiskering and other marks of the user will emerge the longer the denim is left unwashed.
If washing is needed or desired the following are suggestions for washing.
HAND WASH
Wear raw for as long as possible or until smell develops. First wash should be dry clean. Following washes: soak denim in water for 1 hour with special dark detergent (woolite black), rinse, roll dry in terry cloth, then hang dry.
CHARACTER WASH
While wearing your denim, soak in a bath full of warm water for 10 minutes. Drain the water away, squat down and squeeze the water out the fabric. If possible let the jeans dry and mold to your body. Alternatively take them off and hang dry. For following washes see Hand Wash instructions.
